The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on the 14th of August to celebrate Independence Day, reported Akbar Education News on Monday.

The Welfare Wing has sent an announcement in this regard to all departments.

According to the announcement, all offices and Civil Secretariat departments will remain closed on the 14th of August.
